A long, low vintage iron tray — for candles, glasses, or gathering the small things together.

50 x 35 cm and only 3 cm deep, in iron that has weathered to a dark, mottled surface. Trays are how a table stops looking chaotic: put candles on it down the middle of a dining table, or keys and sunglasses on it in a hallway. The metal carries real marks and a little rust in places, left rather than polished out. Reclaimed and reworked by hand in India. Una bandeja de hierro vintage — the dark surface works well against pale Mallorca wood and stone.
