Somewhere in Rajasthan, a craftsman pressed his tools into wood and left a pattern behind — geometric, deliberate, full of patience. This trivet has been with us a long time since then. The white finish has softened at the edges, the grain shows through where hands have rested, and the carving carries that particular quietness that only comes with age. It does not look like it was made yesterday, and that is exactly the point.

Set it on the table beneath a pot of tea or a Sunday breakfast pan. Let it hold candles on a shelf. It works just as well as a small display surface — a place for a few stones, a trinket, something gathered on a walk. At 30cm across, it has presence without demanding attention. Every piece comes with its own variation in tone, pattern depth, and wear, so no two are quite the same in your hands as they were in ours.
