There is something deeply honest about a piece of stone that has lived before it arrived at your table. This large marble plate — somewhere between 50 and 55 centimetres across, with its sturdy handle and serious weight — was not made to go unnoticed. It commands presence. Set it at the centre of a dining table piled with figs and pomegranates, or leave it in the garden catching afternoon light, and it does what only truly old things can: it makes the space feel grounded.

Each plate carries its own quiet character — a particular warmth of tone, a shift in colour from pale cream to deep grey, a line of natural veining that belongs to no other stone on earth. The surface holds the coolness of deep ground. You feel it the moment you run your hand across it. That temperature, that weight, that stillness — it is the stone simply being what it is.

These plates are handpicked in India and brought to Mallorca one by one. No two are alike in pattern, in hue, or in the way the light falls across them.
