Two salvaged materials meet in this table. The thick top is cut from old doors — hardwood that fronted a house for decades — and the legs are built from old cart wood, which spent its working life outdoors being loaded, dragged and repaired.
Both arrive already hard as stone and marked all over: grain running in different directions, old fixing holes, weathering left exactly as found. Two metres seats eight without anyone apologising for elbows. Madera reciclada de puertas y carros, hecha a mano.
