An old carved pot given a fresh painted finish — old shape, new colour.

The form is vintage: carved by hand, worn at the rim, 22 x 22 x 28 cm. The paint is not. Someone has gone over it recently, letting the colour sit into the grain and catch on the worn edges, so it looks neither new nor untouched. Use it as a planter with a liner, or as a piece of colour on a shelf of otherwise natural wood. Painted by hand in India.
