The grain on this one reads like weather — ridges, dips, lines running off at angles, the softer wood worn back and the hard grain standing up between.

It is the texture that makes it. Nothing was designed to look this way; it simply happened, slowly, to a piece of wood that was in use the whole time. Big enough to seat three, and heavy enough that it stays where you put it. Muebles vintage restaurados.
