Tall old wooden grain pot, approx. 48–50 cm high. Sculptural on the floor, or holding dried branches.

Tall wooden vessels like this came from mountain households, where grain had to be kept dry through a long winter. Each was worked from a single piece of wood and used until it split.
The outsides are dry and pale where they faced the room, darker inside, and most carry an old repair or a crack that has long since stopped moving. Roughly 48 to 50 cm tall and 25 to 28 cm across, though each one differs.
