This mould once shaped bricks somewhere in India, pressed and emptied so many times the wood has taken on a colour no new timber could fake. We’ve left it exactly as it was, just given it a new job — holding kitchen oils, spices, cutlery, or whatever else needs a tray with a bit of history.
At 58 by 16 by 9 centimetres, it sits easily on a counter or open shelf, useful without trying too hard to be decorative.
