This flowerpot comes from a small village near Jodhpur, where fifteen families have kept this particular craft alive across five generations. The unglazed terracotta is fired in a traditional oven, using a technique that turns the clay a deep, smoky black rather than the usual warm red.
Standing approximately 25 cm tall, it suits a terrace, a windowsill, or a cluster of pots gathered together. A quiet piece of craft history, made the same way it always has been.
