An old stone kharal plate from India, rustic and full of character — beautiful on a table or sideboard.

A kharal was traditionally used for grinding — a working stone, shaped by hands and years of daily use. Now retired from that life, it finds a new role as something to look at rather than use, though it would happily do both.
Each plate varies slightly in size and colour, roughly 35 by 23 cm, with a surface that tells its own quiet story of wear. Set it on a sideboard, or let it anchor the table with something a little more rustic than usual.
