A weathered wooden chapati board from Rajasthan, worn smooth by years of use — now a soulful addition to your table or kitchen.

Somewhere in Rajasthan, this board was part of a daily rhythm — dusted with flour, pressed with palms, rolled flat before meals that gathered families together. It did its work quietly and faithfully, and now it carries that history with it, into your home.
At 28cm, it is just the right size to anchor a spread of tapas, a few wedges of cheese, a handful of olives and good bread. It works as a serving board as well as it ever worked as a chapati maker — perhaps better now, because it is seen and appreciated in a way it never was before.
Each piece is genuinely vintage, which means no two are exactly alike. The wood may show cracks, patina, or marks from years of honest use. We think of these not as flaws but as the whole point — proof that this object has lived, and has something to bring to your table beyond the purely decorative.
Set it out when friends come over. Leave it on the kitchen counter between uses. Let it be the kind of thing people pick up and turn over in their hands, wondering where it has been. Some objects just hold warmth — this is one of them.
Highly recommended!
