This unique cushion cover is handcrafted from vintage Kantha blankets and dyed using natural indigo dye. Kantha is a traditional patchwork and embroidery technique originating from the eastern regions of the Indian subcontinent. Rural women would recycle worn-out saris and dhotis by stitching the fabrics together with a distinctive running stitch, creating beautiful and functional quilts. These vintage textiles have now been repurposed into stunning, one-of-a-kind cushion covers.
