The pot is old — a working iron vessel long before anyone thought of putting it on a shelf. The paint is new: black and white, applied by hand, following the shape rather than hiding it.
Where the brush ran thin you can still see the iron underneath, dark and slightly pitted from its first life. Good with a plant in it, and good empty on a floor beside something wooden.
The painting differs on every one. Ask us for photos of the pots in stock and choose the one you like.
