A low table takes more abuse than anything else in a living room: feet, cups, laptops, someone sitting on the corner of it.

Reclaimed wood is the right answer to that. It has already survived one life, so a ring left by a glass hardly registers. The build is simple and heavy, with the marks of the old boards kept rather than sanded flat. Madera reciclada, hecha a mano.
