An open shelf asks something of you — everything on it is on display — but it also keeps a room feeling light in a way a closed cupboard never will.

Barni is built by hand from reclaimed teak, a wood dense enough to carry a full run of books without a hint of sag. The planks come from pieces that had already been in service for decades, so the colour varies from shelf to shelf. Muebles artesanales en teca reciclada.
