Old teak door panels, each carrying 4–5 original hooks. Aged 70–80 years, no two panels alike.

These panels were once part of doors — real doors, with daily lives behind them. Salvaged from homes and havelis in Rajasthan, they arrive carrying the weight of those years in their wood: deep amber teak, surface worn smooth in some places, more textured in others, with hooks that were hammered in long before flatpack furniture existed. Each panel holds 4 to 5 hooks, spaced the way someone once needed them to be.

Measuring between 150 and 156 cm long, a single panel fills a wall with something that can’t be manufactured — the quiet authority of age. Hang coats, bags, keys, or nothing at all. The carved detail varies from panel to panel, some more ornate, some almost plain, and that variation is exactly the point. Teak this old doesn’t warp or fuss; it just gets better.
