Somebody used this cabinet for years before we found it, and the teak shows it — softened corners, a few honest scratches, colour that has moved unevenly across the doors. Closed fronts hide everything inside, which is what makes it useful in a hallway where the clutter lives: shoes, post, chargers, dog leads. At 79 x 34 x 147 cm it takes very little floor for the storage it gives. Restored by hand in northern India, never stripped back to look new.
