The Tile Tablecloth is block-printed by hand onto off-white cotton using a traditional technique in which geometric designs are carved into wooden blocks and pressed onto the fabric one section at a time. The result is a bold, graphic pattern with the quiet warmth of something made by hand.

Slight variations in ink and alignment are a natural part of the process — small marks of the hand behind it. The black-on-off-white colourway is clean and grounding, working equally well on a laid table or folded over a bench. At 150x250cm, it seats a generous table comfortably.
