For generations, rural women in West Bengal and Bihar repurposed worn dhotis and saris — stitching layer upon layer of soft, pre-loved cotton together by hand into blankets of extraordinary warmth and character. Nothing wasted. Everything transformed.

Each of our vintage Kantha throws carries that same spirit. Sourced from original blankets, they arrive already softened by time, alive with colour and running stitch that no machine could replicate.
