Narrow vintage teak tray, approx. 40 x 12.5 cm. Made for olives, almonds and three small plates.

Long, narrow boards from the south of India, where they were kitchen ware rather than decoration — used daily, wiped down, used again.
The teak has darkened and gone soft at the edges, and every tray carries its own marks. At roughly 40 x 12.5 cm it takes three small dishes, a row of anchovies, or bread and a saucer of oil.
We have several of these old trays and they differ in colour, length and depth of patina. Say the word and we will send photos so you can pick yours.
Made for standing up in the kitchen.
