Small wooden bowl turned from solid wood. For olives, almonds, salt or whatever needs a home on the table.

A bowl that sits in the palm of your hand. Turned from a single piece of wood, so the grain runs in rings around it and the colour shifts from one bowl to the next.

It holds olives before dinner, almonds after, and the small things that collect by the door in between. Put two or three together with marble or stone on the table and the whole setting gains texture without anyone noticing why.

Small, warm, never put away.
