The middle size, and the one most kitchens end up wanting. Big enough for a proper dinner, small enough to leave a path around it.
The top is reclaimed sal wood, cousin to teak, with the grain running in different directions across the planks — evidence that these boards came from somewhere before they came here. Only a light wax protects the surface, which keeps the wood breathing and matte; hot cups still deserve a coaster. Muebles artesanales, cut and joined by hand.
