In Rajasthan, the parat was a kitchen essential — a wide, shallow marble plate used every morning to mix the dough for chapati bread. Spices were ground into it, dough was worked against its cool surface, and generations of hands shaped meals upon it. This one has lived that life. You can feel it in the weight, in the subtle variations of the stone, in the way it sits so naturally in your hands.
Each PARAT plate is hand-formed and utterly one of a kind. The marble ranges from creamy white to soft grey, with veining that tells its own quiet story. On your table it becomes something else entirely — a generous bowl for fruit or vegetables, a surface for tapas, a place where olives rest beside bread at the end of a long afternoon. Or simply set it somewhere beautiful and let it be.
