This throw carries the dhabu method, a block-printing technique that layers mud, water, and natural indigo dye by hand, one print at a time. Because the dye is natural, it can bleed slightly and the pattern will never come out perfectly even — small variations that mark it as handmade rather than printed by machine.
Made from 100% cotton with a lining on the back to help contain the dye, it finishes with hand-knotted tassels at each end, about 6.5 centimetres long. Throw it over a sofa, the end of a bed, or anywhere that could use a little texture and colour.
Indigo never quite settles. That’s exactly the point.
