In India, lassi is not a trend or a menu item — it is a ritual. Yoghurt thinned with cold water, stirred through with spices, crowned with mango or rose. It appears at the table before the heat of the day sets in, carried out in glasses exactly like these. Brass was the material of the Indian kitchen for centuries: durable, antimicrobial, and aging into something that only gets more beautiful with time. These glasses were part of that daily rhythm — filled, emptied, filled again, rinsed under a tap and set out to dry in the sun.
Each glass stands 18cm tall and carries the particular character that only comes from real use: gentle dents, a deepened patina, the soft irregularities of handmade brass. No two are identical. Gathered in a cluster on your kitchen counter — holding wooden spoons, a few sprigs of rosemary, or simply standing together — they bring something genuinely earned into a space. Not decorative in the manufactured sense, but decorative because they are real.
These glasses were handpicked in Rajasthan, where brass vessels like these still pass between generations. Since every piece is unique, we are happy to send photos before shipping so you can choose your favourite.
The kitchen remembers everything it has held.
