A mudda stool, 40 x 40 x 44 cm, with the cane left pale and the bindings taken in orange, red and blue. The colour sits at the rim, the foot and around the waist, which is exactly where the weaver’s thread does the structural work anyway. Wound by hand in Rajasthan, following the maker rather than a drawing, so the bands fall a little differently each time.
